All Segments Conveniently Located Under One Roof
Intertraffic North America 2007 is the only show in the United States that brings all segments of the transportation development, traffic management, parking and maintenance industries under one roof. It is very much an international event, not the least of which is the ongoing privatization of the US market which continues to present new opportunities to companies from around the world. The continuous and robust expansion of roads and bridges as well as commercial and residential structures in the United States means the demands on traffic technology, safety, parking and management are higher than ever before.
Food, Entertainment and Fun
There will be plenty of networking opportunities throughout the show. The organizers are committed to offering a special schedule of food and entertainment on the exhibition floor. And as well as being easily accessible to international air travelers, Fort Lauderdale is a fun place to be with its tropical climate and night life.
Special Events
Two special events - the National Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Conference and the 2007 ARTBA National Convention - will be held in tandem with the exhibition. These premier US happenings will attract high quality attendees and the program is organized in such a way that they will have plenty of time to visit Intertraffic. Both conferences will be co-sponsored and promoted by US federal, state and local government and private sector organizations specializing in traffic safety, parking management and infrastructure.
Parking
Intertraffic North America 2007 is pleased to announce that Parking Today - the preeminent parking magazine in the world - will offer 'Park across America', a new program of regional events connected by audio and video. 'Park across America' will hold a day-long seminar in conjunction with Intertraffic North America 2007. It will feature the latest topics and trends and is a 'must attend' event within the parking industry.

LIVE Incident Management Demonstration
The Broward County Traffic Incident Management Team will be conducting a LIVE Incident Management demonstration of 'quick clearance' techniques used on Florida's freeway system. On Wednesday, October 10, Intertraffic conference attendees will observe incident clearance procedures practiced every day along Interstates 75, 95 and 595. Road Rangers removing accident vehicles from travel lanes, FDOT's Severe Incident Response Vehicle (SIRV) containing fluid spills and single wrecker quick-clearance of an overturned commercial vehicle. The IM demo will illustrate a compressed, scripted, incident time-line for a 45-60 minute demonstration; allowing for some Q&A.
